What’s in the Box When You Get Your Mini Hoop
Share
Hi, I’m River!
If you’re thinking about getting a Hoops for Good mini basketball hoop, here’s what you get inside the box—plus what you need to do to set it up.
I made a quick video to show you everything, but here’s the list too:
1. The Backboard
This is the main piece—the clear backboard where you’ll attach the hoop. It’s strong and looks like a real one (just mini).
2. The Rim
You get a metal ring for the hoop. You’ll need to screw it onto the backboard before you can start shooting. Super easy!
3. The Net
The net comes loose in a bag, so you’ll need to thread it onto the hoop. It takes a minute to do but you only have to do it once.
4. Over-the-Door Hooks
These let you hang the hoop on your bedroom or office door. Screw them on and you’re good to go.
5. Soft Basketball
You get a soft ball that’s made for indoors. It fits the hoop perfectly and won’t break anything (unless you really go for it!).
6. Mini Pump + Needle
The ball comes flat, but you get a little pump and needle to inflate it.
What You Need to Do:
- Attach the hoop to the backboard (screws are included). Use a screw driver one side and pliers on the other to make it nice and tight.
- Attached the door handers by just screwing through the four screens into the holes on the other side.
- Fit the net onto the hoop
- Pump up the ball
- Hang it on your door
- Start shooting!
And the best part?
$10 from every hoop goes to Charity Bounce, a charity that runs basketball programs for kids and teens doing it tough.
So your hoop doesn’t just help you play—it helps someone else too.
Thanks for checking it out!
